Suddenly, a fairy godmother appears and helps Cinderella get to the ball by turning her rags into a beautiful gown and a pumpkin into a coach. At the ball Cinderella dances with the prince, who falls in love with her. However, at the stroke of midnight Cinderella must leave the ball as her clothes will turn back to rags. Purple Prose:
The fair maiden was young, as maiden’s always are in this story. Cinderella is a beautiful, kind hearted adolescent girl who must live with her family. This is no ordinary family. They are as evil as Satan, as mean spirited as two fighting cats, and as rude as a young child who has not yet learned manners. Cinderella’s hideous, unbearable, absolutely dreadful stepsisters make Cinderella do back breaking labor. Cinderella does chores fit only for the lowest of the low, chores that one would expect a young woman to do if we were living in a time of oppression. Oh!- the fair maiden must wear rags while the stepsisters wear clothes of the finest silks and jewels that King Solomon would be jealous of. One day, when our lonesome heroin is cleaning, an invitation to the prince’s ball is delivered unto the hands of the evil stepsisters and stepmother. Cinderella was devastated, and she most probably fell onto her knees and wept for herself and for the future she would never have. In a poof of magical, glittery smoke, a fairy godmother appeared out of the abyss. She took out a magical wand, one full of mystical powers beyond the comprehension of simple people, and turned Cinderella’s dirty rags into a splendid gown fit for the queen of queens. An orange pumpkin became a grand chariot, and Cinderella rode off into the night to claim her man. The handsome prince fell into a love deeper than the ocean as they danced together. However, at the stroke of midnight, as the clock struck 12 with powerful rings, Cinderella had to run home, because her chariot and gowns turned back into a pumpkin and rags. Cinderella leaves behind a shining, iridescent glass slipper. The handsome, strong, dreamy prince tried to fit the wondrous shoe on the feet of all the maidens, even those with smelly feet that would cause heaven to fall. The magic shoe only fit on the petite foot of Cinderella, and the prince swept her off her feet, into the setting sun in a sky full of orange and pink and blue, as fireworks burst in the sky to celebrate the occasion of the wedding.

Cinderella was an intelligent, well-read young woman who was forced into slaving away at her stepmother’s house while her two stepsisters wasted their minds on frivolous activities like doing their hair and make-up. When the prince announced that he was having a ball for all the women in the kingdom, Cinderella jumped at the chance to better her living conditions and decided to go to the ball to find herself a new job. At the ball, the prince noticed her immediately after he overheard her literary discussion with another woman. He asked her to dance and was blown away by her intellectual wits. Before she got the chance to ask for a job, she had to leave because it was midnight, her curfew. The prince was enamored of Cinderella and tracked her down by using her glass slipper that she left behind at the ball. When he eventually found her and begged for her hand, she responded, “No, thanks. But I would love a job in your castle!”

I have a fantastic life. I have loving parents, and my best friend in the whole wide world is my sister. My step sister, Cinderella, loves doing both mine and my sister’s chores. I think she aspires to be a maid, which would explain her lack of knowledge about fashion- she just wears stained rags. My sister and I were invited to a party with Cinderella, but we threw her invitation into the pond in our back yard, because honestly, who brings their maid to a party? We saw how upset she was about not being invited, so we slipped a chemical or two into her dinner, so she would be able to have a good time on her own without going to the party. This seemed like a good idea until she swiped my father’s credit card, bought a beautiful outfit, and rented a coach. She swears that it was a fairy that appeared out of nowhere and turned her garb into fancy attire and assembled a coach out of a pumpkin, but we all know why she thought this. She runs comes through the doors of the palace, and she asks the prince to dance with her. Intrigued by her unique boldness, the prince agreed and fell in love with her during the first dance. At 11:59, she sprinted out of the room terrified that her dress would turn back into rags, and her coach back into a pumpkin. While running out, the klutz left her shoe in the ballroom (The shoe doesn’t disappear which proves that there was no magic to start with. I am just saying). The Prince brought all of the girls to his palace in order to find Cinderella. Since Cinderella was the only one in the entire town with her particular shoe size (you can’t make this stuff up), the prince fitted the shoe on her foot, and they got married and lived a happy life from then on. I always knew rich guys are attracted to poor girls.

Are you dealing with two ugly stepsisters who are wicked? Are you a beautiful young girl? If you answered yes to these two questions, we strongly encourage you to call the number on your screen and order the movie “Cinderella.” The beautiful clothing Cinderella received from the fairy godmother will easily inspire you. You will think again about returning those pumpkins you just purchased from your local grocery store, for the fairy godmother can make these pumpkins into a coach. You will learn how to fall in love and become ignorant about the current time. You will understand the importance of not leaving your shoe around which can cause unheard of confusion. Finally, you will be able to witness a happily ever after where the prince finds the owner of the shoe, which is Cinderella, and understand what it truly means to live happily ever after. If you call the number on your screen and purchase the movie in the next four minutes, we will provide you with free glass slippers, and we will give you a bonus DVD for absolutely no extra cost (just pay processing and handling). Cinderville is possibly one of the most prosperous and well known cities in all of the Pumpkin land. The city has always been famous for its wealth and astounding historical, archeological and architectural sites. Tourists have always been drawn to the thriving city and Cinderville has always been associated with affluence and material comfort. However, the problem with such a wealthy city is the fact that many things, the more important things, are often overlooked. Just like in every city, there are always the indigent and less fortunate. Of course, nobody has time to concern themselves with the lower class since the wealthy feel that they only harm the city in the first place and should simply be ignored. Often, a citizen’s natural rights are simply taken away and nobody gets involved in order to stop this unfair mistreatment. Cinderella, a beautiful and intelligent seventeen year old girl, lives with her cruel step mother and obnoxious step sisters. Her father was one of the rich citizens of Cinderville; yet after his death his new wife and two daughters inherited all his money while Cinderella was left with nothing. She was forced to become the maid of the grand mansion, forced to wear rags and exposed to backbreaking labor. Naturally, she was completely ostracized from her group of friends since she was now considered “poor” and no longer met the standards of the rich people in Cinderville. Her sisters even stole her invitation to the ball of the prince because they found it inappropriate for a poor girl to attend an event that is only meant for the rich. This poor girl has been abused and taken advantage of by her “family.” However, nobody finds it important enough to help this young girl because she is no longer part of the upper society and therefore not important enough. Only one woman, Fairy Godmother, was willing to fight for the rights of the poor that so many ignored. She ensured that Cinderella appeared at the ball in a beautiful gown in order to make her feel that she was just as much worth as every other human being. Every citizen should fight for the rights of all human beings, just as Mrs. Godmother did. After all, all men are created equal, whether they are rich or poor.

During the time of the first year of Prince Charming’s rule, the land was prosperous so he decided to throw a ball. Every maiden in the land was invited, including the young peasant, Cinderella, who lived in her step-mother’s home. She had been a slave in her household for many years whilst her two step-sisters lived lavishly. It came to pass that when their invitations came, Cinderella’s step mother threw away her invitation and Cinderella was sent to work for the rest of the night while everyone else went to the ball. Then God sent down a guardian angel from the heaven’s and commanded it to turn Cinderella into a beautiful princess. The angel then gave Cinderella a stunning white dress and transformed a pumpkin into a stage coach with two mighty horses pulling it. When Prince Charming saw Cinderella at the ball he was shocked by her beauty and fell in love with her after only one dance. To show the power of God, He stopped Cinderella’s step-mother and sisters from taking her away by smiting them with an awful lightning bolt. Because this was Godly power and not “magic,” Cinderella was able to stay with her prince past midnight and later that year became the princess. And they lived happily ever after for all the days of their lives.

Bible Story:
It was under the rule of a mighty King there lived a young, pious maiden by the name of Cinderella, who dwelled amongst her evil clan. She hath two other maidens, stepsisters as they were, both of whom cast aspersions on Cinderella and forced the hapless lass to do all the tasks set forth in the household. Whilst the ignoble stepsisters wore golden garb lined with the most precious diamonds, Cinderella had nothing to wear, but to the exception of tainted rag cloth.
An invitation from the mighty King to attend the religious ceremony was extended to Cinderella’s sisters, but no such offer was hereto granted to their younger sister, discontenting Cinderella’s inner soul. Lo and behold, a holy spirit appeared and called forth to Cinderella. The spirit aided Cinderella in her journey to the ball by transforming Cinderella’s torn garments into an exquisite gown and her pumpkin means of transport into an angelic ride to the heavens.
Thenceforth the service commenced, Cinderella found favor in the Sacred Prince’s eyes and thus moved gracefully with him. Be that as it may, whence the stroke of midnight would take its toll, Cinderella mustn’t remain at the ceremony, lest her dress reshape its contents into rag cloth. Ergo, the pious lass hurried out of the hall, but her footwear she was not to find. Alas, she had left it in the high hall, next to the devout Prince, who consequently made an attempt to fit the footwear on every maiden he could lay his eyes on, wherein success he found not. But lo! The one lass whose feet found their way into the minuscular footwear was the pious Cinderella.
Under the auspices of the God of the Heavens above, the Prince and Cinderella hath found each other fine in the institution of Holy Matrimony. They were to live in peace until the end of time.

Let me introduce myself. I am Rachel, the daughter of Lavan and younger sister of Leah. My father treats me horribly and makes me take care of the sheep. One day as I was drawing water from the well, Jacob, the handsome son of the wealthy Isaac, set his eyes on me. From that moment, I knew we were destined to be together, but I was worried that he would not be interested in me because I was a mere shepherdess and my family was horrible idol worshippers. Lucky for me, G-d made Jacob see me for who I really was. Jacob fell in love with me and was determined to marry me no matter what. Of course my cruel father made Jacob work for seven years and then proceeded to trick him into marrying my older sister, Leah. Jacob would not give up and worked another seven years to marry his princess. With G-d’s intervention, Jacob was able to withstand all of the obstacles that faced him. Jacob was truly my prince charming. We got married and I eventually gave birth to Jacob’s two favorite sons, Yosef and Binyamin. We all lived happily ever after until I died in childbirth.

Once upon a time, in the fertile land of Disney, the orphaned young woman, called Cinderella, lived with her two vile stepsisters. Whilst their mother gave them from the bounty of the land, the silks of the finest merchants and the meager workload of a noble-man, Cinderella toiled and slaved over arduous house-work and was adorned with sack-cloth and ashes. After her sisters receive a summons to a royal ball but not her, Cinderella is reduced to tears. Suddenly, an angel from the Lord appears and speaks unto Cinderella. The angel transforms her ragged cloth into a gown of the finest materials. Cinderella receives a carriage made from fine pumpkin skin and attends the finest ball there ever was, with nobles from all across the land. At the ball, Cinderella exchanges a dance with the Prince, who becomes smitten with deep love for her. She has to depart by the stroke of midnight as not to reveal her true self. As she flees from the ball, one of her slippers falls out from underneath her foot. The Prince finds the slipper and scours the land to search for his one true love. When Cinderella tries to put the shoe on, it fits and they live together, as one, under the Lord, with much joy and celebration.

Social Realism:
Cinderella is just an average 16-year old girl. Well, as average as a girl whose mother passed away when she was three, whose father married a new lady (whom she is convinced is pure evil, at least when her dad is not around, and refuses to call “mom”), and whose stepmother brought into the family with her two ugly stepsisters that could not be more unlike herself. She goes to a public high school, just like everyone else, where her stepsisters are much more popular than she is (despite the fact that they are ugly and cannot tell their right from left), but she feels no one understands her. Her only real fun times are with her friends, and even then she feels slightly left out. One weekend, her dad goes on a business trip, leaving her, her stepmother, and the ugly twins back at home. She, being the one least liked by her stepmother, has to do all the housework while the stepsisters get to run around town with their friends. Even worse is that her school dance is this weekend, but she has nothing to wear, no date, and no ride. Luckily for her the school had announced this year that students were allowed and encouraged to come without a date and that many of her friends would be doing just that. “Here's my chance to make a name for myself.” she thought, “I can finally be popular.” At the last minute, however, her stepmother informed her that she would be scrubbing the floor instead of going to the dance on Saturday night. On Saturday night, she snuck into her sisters' closet (they had already left for the dance), found a dress she liked, took her father's car, and set off into the unknown world of the dance. “What if I embarrass myself while dancing,” she thought. “what if I don't fit in with the popular crowd,” “what if everyone already has a date, and I'm the odd one out?” As these possibilities flew through her mind, the unexpected happened; she was asked to dance by one of the popular guys in school. Due to the dim lights, however, it was possible he did not know who she was. After a bit of dancing, it was already midnight, and she suddenly realized that of she was not home soon, her evil stepmother and the twins were bound to notice she was gone, because they had just left for home. She hurried out, dropping her bracelet intentionally on the way out, so he would know who she was at school. But on Monday, when she confronted him at lunch to ask for her bracelet back, she only got an “Oh, here.” as he shoved the bracelet at her and continued talking to his friends. Shot down, she walked back to her table and explained the situation to her best friends Katie, Daniel, and Iris. Only then did she realize she had not talked to them in so long, being so worried about her family and the dance. Iris turned to her and said, “You know what? Life sucks. We've all had our share of ups and downs also, but that's what friends are for right? How about we all go get ice cream after school today. Sound good?” And for the first time in a long time, Cinderella finally realized that, despite how horrible and unfair life can be, friends are always there to pick you back up.
